About Citrus Isles
The curiously named Citrus Isles Fort Lauderdale community is a collection of six islands that are all named after a type of fruit, not far at all from the downtown area. Mango Isle, Avocado Isle, Guava Isle, Mandarin Isle and Tangelo Isle run parallel to each other and offer an excellent location overlooking the water just south of Davie Boulevard.
Citrus Isles real estate is largely a collection of waterfront residences which face either one of the neighboring Citrus Isles or the various homes found east of I-95 that are just across the water. Several of the Citrus Isles homes com with boat docks and range between 1,261 to a little over 3,000 square feet, ensuring plenty of options in terms of size.
By using Davie Boulevard, it's very easy to explore the rest of Fort Lauderdale, Broward County and South Florida since Interstate 95 is easily accessible. As mentioned, the downtown Fort Lauderdale area is nearby and so are popular attractions like the Museum of Discovery and Science and its accompanying IMAX Theater. Fort Lauderdale Airport is south of Citrus Isles.
